The Corruption of the Democrats

The Democrats can’t help themselves. They’re so hopelessly corrupt that without a wholesale overthrow of their own establishment by actual, legitimate, uncorrupted people, they represent an existential threat to this, the greatest country that’s ever existed in the history of the world.

How do I know that? Simple: yesterday, a judge in Texas ruled “Obamacare” unconstitutional. It’s not a particularly difficult stretch to arrive at that conclusion; the law, as it was written, compels Americans to purchase something that they might or might not otherwise purchase if the law didn’t exist.

It’s important to understand that the American Constitution is a very negative document. It imposes a whole passel of “Thou shalt not’s” — in the form of language like “Congress shall make no law…” — on the American government. It’s a document that strives to rein in, to limit, to hobble, constrain and impede, the government’s ability to become a tyranny.

It’s hardly a stretch, then, to imagine that a law, like Obamacare, that requires you to purchase something could be deemed unconstitutional. After all, the Constitution is all about trying to be sure that the government’s ability to require you to do anything at all is severely hamstrung.

So, how do you think the Democrats would react to the ruling from the Texas judge that the law that forces you to buy something is unconstitutional. Well, let’s see… here’s the reaction from Nancy Pelosi, incoming Speaker of the House of Representatives:

“Tonight’s district court ruling exposes the monstrous endgame of Republicans’ all-out assault on people with pre-existing conditions and Americans’ access to affordable health care,” Pelosi said in a statement.

Monstrous endgame.” Hmmm…

Surprised at that reaction? I’m not. Pelosi actually says, and hopes that you’ll believe, that the leadership of the Republican Party has actually formulated an “endgame”‘ — a monstrous endgame — that entails assaulting both “people with pre-existing conditionsand the access that Americans in general have to healthcare.

Well.

To formulate such an “endgame,” Pelosi’s implying that groups of Republican big-wigs get together in secret enclaves and agree that something must be done, that a plan must be in place, to assault people with pre-existing conditions, and to deny Americans in general their access to healthcare.

For there to be such an “endgame” such high-level meetings and close coordination are absolutely obligatory. No such “endgame” could possibly exist without all that.

Then, Pelosi’s looking you right in the eye and demanding that you believe such a horrible thing about these monstrous (her word) Republicans. It’s all a bunch of hogwash, of course. To believe such a thing, Pelosi is either [1] a completely whacked-out, around-the-bend, out-in-left-field, paranoid schizophrenic, or [2] she’s pathetically stupid.

Or… [3] she’s lying.

Don’t rule out the very real possibility that all three might be true.

It’s inescapable, though: if she’s not crazy, she’s either crashingly stupid, or she’s looking you right in the eye and lying through her teeth to you. What is that word for when top government officials knowingly lie to the public?

Understand: when I first read the news that the Texas judge had ruled Obamacare unconstitutional, I knew full well that corruptocrats like Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, et al, would react that way. Because that’s how they react to everyone and everything that goes against what  they say.

I wonder what we might call: knowingly lying to people in order to obtain power. Can you think of a word for it?

I made the claim above that the Democrats represent an existential threat to America. Well, how would you characterize an incredibly powerful political group, a group that’s one of the two most powerful political groups in the country… whose corruption is responsible for its accession to power?

That means that there’s a culture and a system in America that permit the hopelessly corrupt to take power in the country.

The only hope for any country is if it doesn’t have a culture of corruption that both fosters more corruption and nearly guarantees that the corrupt will take power.
