It’s indisputable that, in the context of the Iran nuclear “deal,” the Iranian régime played the Obama administration for a bunch of fools. It wasn’t difficult; the Obama administration was peopled mainly by idiots, led by its egomaniacal idiot-in-chief. The Iran nuclear “deal” was cobbled together by corrupt, left-wing idiots on the American side and, on the Iranian side, by amoral baboons who realized full well that they were negotiating with idiots. What chance, really, did it have of being something good or positive? More to the point, what chance did the deal actually have of curbing Iran’s nuclear power ambitions?
No chance of either.

Tulsi Gabbard is the least horrible of all the Democrat candidates for President… and she’s horrible.

If any top Democrat were President today, Qassem Soleimani — bloodthirsty terrorist, and the murderer of hundreds (thousands?) of Americans — would be alive today, comfortable and worry-free, and eagerly anticipating many more worry-free years of killing Americans like you and me..

How about: “Abolitionist?” We are, after all. And we do see parallels between chattel slavery and the crushing burden of government regulation, intrusion and intervention into the lives of American citizens. And, needless to say, the words “abolitionist” and “abolitionism” have noble traditions in Western Civilization. So, that’s my leading contender so far. Furthermore, let’s face it, the label “Abolitionist” absolutely belongs to the Republican Party, since the Democrat Party rejected the abolition of slavery… while the Republican Party embraced abolitionism entirely. If the Democrats object, tell ’em to take a hike. “Abolitionism” — as a concept — and therefore the word itself, absolutely belongs to the Republican Party.
I am an Abolitionist!

We can be all nice and civilized to them… after we beat them. Kind of like how in World War II we bombed the crap out of Dresden, Hamburg and Tokyo. The régimes in Nazi Germany and Tokyo needed to go away, and the amputations needed to be cauterized. So they were. Then we were nice, very nice actually, with the populations of those countries after the war.
That was, and remains, the only morally correct, strategically effective way to treat hellishly barbarous régimes and terrorist organizations.

Our kind of generalized understanding that politicians are amoral scoundrels and mountebanks, along with our expectation that they act like decent, honorable, public-spirited public servants, are perfectly mutually exclusive things.
How is it somehow worse that Trump actually lives up to our general expectations of politicians, but it’s better that Barack Obama was a smooth, graceful, eloquent, persuasive… gangster?

Let’s face it: the so-called “impeachment” has at least the following component: the desire to be able to refer to Trump as “disgraced President Trump,” and “the disgraced President.” You’ll see that, from now on, this word will make its way frequently into Democrat/Socialist campaign speeches. This is further proof that the Left has long been reduced to silly word games to try to bamboozle the American people.
