Black Lives Matter? Yep. White Lives Don’t.


Don’t believe me? Go to a Black Lives Matter rally, and try to suggest to someone there that, say, all lives matter. Shouldn’t be controversial, right? However, the snarling, sneering, violent hostility that you’ll encounter in reaction to that brief, unsubtly obvious assertion will rock you back on your heels. All the leading candidates for the Democrat Party Presidential nomination agreed — either reluctantly or enthusiastically — that one shouldn’t say, “All lives matter.” In other words, one of America’s two major political parties does not endorse the notion that “all American lives matter.” Continue reading Black Lives Matter?
