Drip… Drip… Drip…

What are they waiting for in getting rid of Andrew Cuomo?

The likeliest answer is that they need to position someone to take over, and that successor is just not quite there yet. Remember: the Democrat Party owns New York State, and can, and likely do, manipulate this kind of thing to whatever extent they wish.

Now that Cuomo is politically dead — long, long, long dead! — there are reasons he’s still in office, and one of those reasons is surely: NY Dems don’t yet have someone absolutely locked in to replace the bastard. That means that Cuomo’s replacement when he steps down, as he will — NY Lieut. Gov. Kathleen C. Hochul — has been examined and found wanting. Otherwise, she would be governor now.

Or… The Dems are simply waiting for the moment they believe to be the most propitious to get rid of Cuomo.(1)

Make no mistake about this: the likelihood that Cuomo groped and pawed a few women pales next to the well-documented fact that he killed some 15,000+ elderly people in nursing homes, then lied about it. Then defended his own lies.

The (as of now) five women who’ve stepped forward to accuse Cuomo of sexual harassment are there merely to ensure that the Democrat Party liability that is Andrew Cuomo leaves the scene.

Whether Cuomo ever actually did anything inappropriate or not, these accusers would be there, dutifully accusing.(2)

I wish someone on the GOP side would make the following obvious point: Cuomo has been exposed as at least one of only two possible things: #1: He’s unutterably stupid and incompetent, and that caused the deaths of 15,000+ nursing home patients, or #2: he’s unspeakably evil, and did it on purpose. Again, we can’t rule out #3: All of the above.

I think NY Democrats know all this, have known it for a long time, and simply aren’t  willing to wait for someone on the GOP side to cotton to it all and say it.

I said the following all the way back in March of 2020, and I’m a medical layman: “It’s simple: This (COVID19) is a disease… our first priority is to protect the elderly and those weakened by other health issues.”

I was right. And Andrew Cuomo, (CA governor) Gavin Newsom and (MI governor) Gretchen Whitmer likely all knew that basic bit of common sense too. Or else they’re blithering idiots.

They all (along with others, but these are the best known) issued executive orders to house COVID patients in with the elderly and the weakened patients in nursing homes, thereby guaranteeing that they’d kill thousands.

If you were to try to think up a way to kill thousands of elderly and weakened people, and get away with it, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better way than the one Coumo-Newsom-Whitmer found. They overtly, even aggressively, killed nursing home residents, by the thousands, this past year.

Bastards and idiots, every last one of ’em.

(1) By the way, when Andrew steps down as governor, how long will it be before Chris the buffoon brother at CNN, has to find other employment?

(2) We observed that this kind of dirty trick is a standard in the Dems’ arsenal, regardless of whether the target has done anything inappropriate. We said it, for example, the moment President Trump nominated Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. (here, for example, in a more blanket statement, but we said it all the same.)

Whenever the Left wants to get rid of someone, if that someone doesn’t leave promptly, the accusation of sexual impropriety of any kind always makes an appearance; again, regardless of whether the target is 110% innocent or not.

  1. Yeah, we should do the same to Cuomo as we did with Trump given all his improper sexual abuses toward his accusers! (Oh.. wait… nothing happened to Trump.)

    1. You didn’t get it, Doug. Again.

It’s the DEMOCRATS doing this to Cuomo. THEY’RE trying to get rid of him, because he became toxic as soon as it became obvious that he was both corrupt (covering-up the numbers of people his executive order killed) and incompetent (issuing the deadly executive order itself).

The DEMOCRATS are getting rid of him. If you want to be cynical about the GOP, have at it, but it’s in THEIR best political interest to keep the bastard in office.

Ana, again, if you were to try to think of a way to kill thousands of elderly and weakened people, and get away with it, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better way than the one Coumo-Newsom-Whitmer found. They overtly, even aggressively, killed nursing home residents, by the thousands, this past year.

Trump might have been a womanizer… though there’s been nothing more than the same accusations that have been leveled at Cuomo, but Trump never killed anyone.

      1. Trump never killed anyone? Morally, as with Cuomo (if the investigation supports it), Trump has in fact by extension has direct responsibility for the lousy response to the pandemic. Ok.. sure.. one might assign kudos to him for Operation Warp Speed’s vaccine rollout…. but that alone does nothing to absolve him from moral complicity in Covid deaths with failing to unite the country… and continuing to be a narcissist to a fault. You can even go so far as to assign moral responsibility for deaths at the border as a result of his immigration policies. But let’s look more directly. Trump incited the insurrectionists to go violent.. which in turn led to those deaths that day… and the suicides later. If it’s revealed Cuomo made a bad call then he must embrace having had responsibility for making it… I’ve seen zero reporting that the call he made at the time was a grandstand political move or something profitable for him personally. Was there some level of a cover up of the death counts to save personal political embarrassment? That’s on him and goes with the consequences if he broke any laws. But the original decision, as so far having been revealed, was based on the then science of the moment and he made a command decision. Trump, on the other hand, avoids decisions like this by nature because he is no leader and accepts zero responsibility for anything he does.

I most certainly would think twice about agreeing to my daughter working for Cuomo in the same room without wearing a wire, but I would accept Cuomo to lead through a pandemic or other calamity. No comparison to Trump at all.

        1. Doug: you’re not a thinker, so I hate to waste my time with you. However, as a small favor, I’ll give you a bit more time.

If you’re unaware of the realities of the pandemic, as you obviously are, then I don’t have time to educate you.

The response to the pandemic was, of course, maximally Democrat. The states handled everything, and Trump could have issued all the national plans he wanted, the Democrat governors all would have ignored it all.

It was a DEMOCRAT response entirely — except for a few exceptions (Florida, Texas) all of which performed better than the so-called “heroes” like Cuomo, et al.

Sorry… the pandemic was going to kill people… the Democrats simply ensured that the number would be maximized.

And, you DO know that the notion of an “insurrection” has been entirely edbunked, don’t you? Sorry, Doug, you ARE one of those Useful Idiots” who swallow uncritically what the legacy media spoon-feed you, and the result is that you’re, well, ignorant, and it is a waste of time to interact with you.

Just one quick suggestion: read Glenn Greenwald’s piece in which he confirms all that I said in the many posts I’ve done on the topic. Here’s one: https://greenwald.substack.com/p/the-false-and-exaggerated-claims?fbclid=IwAR00n-6Z9szBgUf4BgW9C7zG27fgx4fR84l34u5tIpaZ4SBcT4udqDPx84Q.

          Here’s another one: https://greenwald.substack.com/p/as-the-insurrection-narrative-crumbles?r=2jxh5&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email&utm_source=copy&fbclid=IwAR24UggV-y1QVTd6ZhgQemThjQKhWbMdPMDdcaclR0VrQ4fw1HZdyb4ruIw.

The headline for that one is: “As the Insurrection Narrative Crumbles, Democrats Cling to it More Desperately Than Ever”

It SHOULD read: “As the Insurrection Narrative Crumbles, Democrats and The Ignorant Cling to it More Desperately Than Ever.
