But, this guy’s inhuman. In a very, very good way.
I’ve followed Vova and his sister Olga for years.
Here’s a not bad video featuring Vova:
It’s Martin Bashir, so you shouldn’t expect much, but he, surprisingly, stays out of the way. Needless to say, Bashir’s piece focuses on Galchenko’s stage fright, and not on Galchenko’s nearly inhuman juggling talents.
I’m a really good juggler, but I’m several orders of magnitude below Vova Galchenko.
However, Vova Galchenko is only one half of a duo. Vova has a sister who’s as ridiculously talented as he is. Her name is Olga. Here’s a video of Vova and Olga having some fun. The video is narrated by Penn Jillette, of Penn and Teller fame:
I have a lot of juggling balls, and some of my favorites are weighted ones. They’re weighted in order to provide a nice upper-body workout for me. Furthermore, I have a lot of tricks in my juggling repertoire, and lots of my tricks have caused people to gasp in astonishment, but believe me when I tell you that the Galchenkos are absolutely ridiculous — in the most positive way. They’re easily several orders of magnitude better than I am. Enjoy the video!
“Several orders of magnitude” = “a whole flargin’ lot.”
Watch these two kids do their act, look at their youthful smiles, look at the fun they’re having, and ask yourself: Have you ever seen anything as beautiful, as delightful, as heart-warming, as a Galchenko juggling routine followed by that drop-your-heart-into-your-socks Olga smile?
