I’m really fed up with the excuses of the racist Left. The topic is black-on-black violent crime. It’s a topic about which white Americans — prominent or otherwise — are not allowed to talk in public… without immediately being accused of racism, or all the usual cr*p.
I recently had an exchange with a black racist in these pages. His point: I shouldn’t talk about black-on-black crime because I’m not black. And also, by the way, Dylann Roof.
Roof was the psychotic, racist white kid who murdered all the people in the black church in Charleston, South Carolina. Because of him, my interlocutor said, no white person has a right to talk about black-on-black crime.
By that “logic,”‘ no black person would ever have a right to discuss any black-on-white crime that might ever take place. Nothing like, for example, this.
Needless to say, it’s important for all people to be able to comment on serious problems. Especially when — people are dying. Dying violent, gruesome deaths, in cities that have become killing fields for black people.
The point: if anyone should be actually excluded from such conversations, it’d be the leftists under whose watch American cities have become death traps for black Americans.
Otherwise stated: anyone of sincere good will who really wants to solve the serious problems of black Americans in American cities should welcome with open arms and minds, new and fresh ideas from others. And why? I said it above:
People are dying! Our black brothers and sisters are dying in droves, at the hands of other black people.
The racist who disagreed with me, who thought that white people like me shouldn’t pronounce ourselves on black Americans’ problems said this:
I guess all those police brutalities and polices murders against black people are all in my head. I guess all those incidents where white people harassed black people entering public places for no good reason are also unfounded and are totally not race based. I guess white folks calling the cops on us for merely being in a coffee shop, a gym, a store, a restaurant or even at a park having a cookout is justified just because. And one more thing, I guess I imagined the terrible church shooting that took the lives of nine innocent black people by a lone racist.
This was to tell me that I had no right to talk about black-on-black crime, because there were all these incidents of white-on-black crime that made anything I’d say seem… inappropriate.
You said: “And one more thing, I guess I imagined the terrible church shooting that took the lives of nine innocent black people by a lone racist.
My response: Ummmm… thank you for making my point for me. Yes, he [Dylann Roof] was a lone racist. If he were to catch up to the toll taken by black Americans against other black Americans, then he’d have had to kill… TENS OF THOUSANDS.
Dylann Roof will meet his maker soon enough, proving pretty conclusively that white Americans will not put up with other white people killing black people — for any reason.
Now, you need to answer the question as to why you put up with black people killing other black people.
You make excuse after excuse after excuse after excuse after excuse, and you whine and whine and whine and whine and whine about the perfectly irrelevant, completely forgetting that BLACK PEOPLE ARE DYING! At the hands of other black people. And you’re complicit in it, and you should be ashamed of yourself, FREAKIN’ DO SOMETHING! Can you tell that I’m a bit ticked off?
You give me the big kiss off, when you’re a willing accomplice in the DEATHS of thousands of black people, and I’m tired of your stupid excuses, while BLACK PEOPLE ARE DYING!!! [Red emphasis added.]
Each violent death of a black American is an infinite loss to the world. It’s irrecoverable. Can’t ever take it back. Can’t ever get it back… or the potential, or the humanity. Ever. It’s all gone forever. And the ones he leaves behind are forever scarred, forever damaged. And for what? Seriously, for what? Drugs? Sneakers? Turf? Are any of those things worth even one human life? No, they are not. And they’re certainly not worth tens of thousands of such lives.
And I get supposedly well-meaning black leftists telling me that I can’t talk about such things! If I were prone to bad words, as I’m not, then I’d say a big, bad, one — or two. Two that would begin with “F” and end with “u”.
Yep. I’m truly good and sick and tired of all the excuses from the black American Left, and I used the exchange to make my irritation known. There is an emergency in America today, and it has everything to do with the generations-long flirtation America’s had with the Left… and the disastrous, often deadly, results of that flirtation.
