GREAT Summary — Freedom and Equality (Part III)

Here’s a great quote from Milton Friedman, concerning the tension between the concepts of freedom and equality:

A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither. A society that puts freedom before equality will get a high degree of both.

In other words: the more freedom the people have, the more even will be the distribution of wealth and prosperity in any given society.

And, what do you know, the Pareto Principle suggests that very thing!
