To paraphrase Henry Kissinger, as he contemplated the Iran-Iraq war back in the previous millennium.
The problem with this as it pertains to today’s election, if they both were to lose, that would mean either Gary Johnson, who’s a flake, or Jill Stein, who’s a pie-eyed lunatic.
How did we come to this pass? Where our choice is between the horrible, the awful, the flaky and the crazy? TweeleDee, TweedleDum, TweedleDummer and TweedleDummest. For freakin’ President of the United States of America? The greatest country that’s ever been … choosing the most mediocre, execrable, repellent candidates possible!
What. The. Heck!
How did we come to this pass?
Well, as you know, we like to answer the rhetorical questions we pose here. The answer: the corrupt press. Pretty thoroughly documented in these pages.
Again, if the press were merely honest, then Democrats, scoundrels, idiots and clodpoles — but I repeat myself — would have no possibility of even competing in, much less winning, elections.
