Bottom Line: Not only will I prove it to you, but you will prove it to yourself … in the essay below.
First, some background: In the essay linked here, we offered compelling evidence that the Democrat Party is thoroughly, hopelessly corrupt. Our proof: watch the Republican Party, and how it polices itself. How it has to police itself.
In this essay, though, we’ll ask you to do a little thought exercise with us, and to think back to the investigation into the Hillary Clinton private e-mail server.
Item 1: As the days passed leading up to the announcement by FBI Director Comey, what was your state of mind? Did you think — be honest — “No matter what James Comey says, (Attorney General) Loretta Lynch won’t indict Hillary.” Conclusion: you were not in the least surprised. More to the point, you’d have been completely shocked if Loretta Lynch had followed through with an indictment of Clinton.
Item 2: In other words, when Director Comey said, “For anyone else there would be serious consequences. (Indict indict) She was extremely careless (indict, indict, indict) with national security and national secrets. Oh, I don’t think that charges should be brought against her,” were you at all surprised when Loretta Lynch didn’t indict her? Conclusion: you were not in the least surprised when Loretta Lynch didn’t bring criminal charges against Hillary Clinton. More to the point, you’d have been completely shocked if Loretta Lynch had followed through with an indictment of Clinton.
Item 3: Imagine a hypothetical in which the political parties were reversed: A Republican Presidential candidate is found to have had the illegal e-mail server in his or her home during his tenure as a top government official, lies repeatedly about it, and the investigation proves conclusively that he recklessly jeopardized national security as a result. The FBI, with a registered Democrat at its helm, comes back with a completely, witheringly damning report, but no recommendation to indict. He presents this report to an Attorney General appointed by the sitting Republican President. What do you think that Attorney General’s reaction would be? This isn’t a trick question; the answer’s easy. Here’s the inevitable statement by that hypothetical Attorney General: “We must not allow even the hint of an appearance of political impropriety to taint the findings of this investigation. I will order the filing of criminal charges against [name here] and let’s allow the American judicial system to do its work.” Conclusion: This scenario strikes you as completely plausible, and even probable.
I have other “Items,” but that’ll do for now.
Now, if you’re at all informed about current events in America, and if you’re honest, then you know that you agree with all three of the above conclusions. Even if you’re an ardent Democrat, or a Democrat supporter. To be fair #2 is just a restatement of #1, but that merely helps to drive the point home.
And, if you’re at all informed about current events in America, and if you’re honest, then you just persuaded yourself that the Democrat Party is hopelessly corrupt.
Go ahead — prove me wrong.
