I get a kick out of the brief moment in the first few moments of the very short video. The spoonman starts with a very clever rendition of Mozart’s Turkish March. He looks over at the guitarist, Estas Tonne, who shakes his head to indicate that he doesn’t know that one, and they go into a really fun back-and forth.
This appears to be the quintessential “jam session” between two people who are really good at what they do (spoons and guitar) and who get together to try to make some music and fun together. There is purity and communication and interaction and communion and … fun in these get-togethers.
I know, I’ve participated in a few hundred of them myself.
