Warning: Rated PG! It’s Okay to “Objectify” Women… (Part III)

In this post, and this one, we explained that it’s okay to ‘objectify’ women once in a while.

As I thought more about it, I realized: That’s pretty much how we men have thought about women all our lives. It’s probably how men have thought about women forever.

I’ve never met a single man in my life who ever thought of women as nothing but a sex object. Oh, they’re out there, I’m sure, but they’re distinctly in the minority, and they never exercised any authority in America. And, I’m guessing that they’re balanced by roughly the same percentage of equally shallow women.

Want some evidence for what I’m saying? In that great anarchic decade: the ’60’s, feminists usurped the role of spokeswoman for all women. Despite the fact that they were a fringe bunch of kooks, they demanded that men cede vast amounts of money, prestige and power, and men said, “Uhhhh…Okay.” And then did it.

If you’ve been following my back-and-forths with the race addicts of the Race Grievance Industry, then you know that I came to the inevitable conclusion that white Western European men, as a group, have been divesting themselves of any form of prejudice or bias whatsoever for decades, probably for centuries. For better or worse. However, things move more quickly in the 20th and 21st Centuries, along with instantaneous communication.

You may believe that white Western European men are guilty of a lot of things, but there’s no case to be made that they’re racists, sexists, homophobes or any of the epithets that have been hurled at them in the past few decades. To the contrary, they appear more and more to be just a bunch of squishes, with few solid core beliefs — good or bad — at all.
